Boyz II Men

So I was so excited about NYC I forgot Boyz II Men....I dont know how I did that because it was unforgettable!

SO Julia and I went to see the Boyz the day before I left for NYC. We got there a little late, but little did I know we would get the best seat in the house!

The show was amazing, way better than what I thought it would be.  The guys were moving on stage and singing and just having fun!

Anyhow during I'll Make Love to You the guys started hading out roses.  A girl went up to the stage and got one and then a mob of women started going up there.  From where we were about 5 steps down the stage and then maybe another 20 feet away you would think we didnt stand a chance of getting near a rose!

So when there was one rose left, Wanya had it, there are about 15 women standing in front of him.  What does he do? Walks down the stage steps and then makes eye contact with me. He walks all the way up to where we are sitting and hands me the last rose! Then he gets down on one knee while still singing I'll make love to you, takes my hand and kisses it!  Amamzing! Some of the best eye sex I have ever had! WOW!

LOL at the M&G after the show Wanya said I looked sad and lost...too funny! I was in awe, it was pure amazement!!!

I was meant to be a New Yorker!

I would try to fill you in on all the stuff that has happened in the last 17 days, but why?  My New York trip is the only thing worth talking about!

On the 17th I arrived in New York and made my way to Julia at the Edison Hotel.  The hotel was traditional NYC, small!  LOL, but who cares it was just meant for sleeping anyhow.

Julia and I ended up at a surf bar where we drank and we ate and we drank and we ate come more! I was schwasted after my 3 different drinks.  LOL I don't mix well :-)

Walking back to the Edison Julia hear music and in we went! It didn't take us long to figure out we were in a Gay Bar, my first in NYC....little did we know the night was just about to begin!

We met some great people at the 9th Ave Saloon. Harold and Freddie and our new amazing friend Stephanie. We hung out at the bar till it closed and then went to the NYC underground activity of an after hours bar! LOL I think there were more people in the "closed" bar than 9th Ave!

We hung out there and met John and Brad who we ended up hanging out with us and Stephanie the rest of the morning.  We had breakfast, somewhere, and after Stephanie made a mad dash to her car, because the street sweeper was parked behind her, we walked back to our hotel.  LOL Brad & I ventured over to Times Square and I got to take some pics, of him trying to sleep because by this time is was well after 7a closer to 8a! Needless to say by the time we parted ways with everyone and FINALLY hit the sack is was about 830 or 9a! Not a bad way to spend the first night in NYC!

A few hours later we were up and getting ready to switch hotels when all the power went out.  Apparently all that banging we hoped we were dreaming the last few hours was them doing something outside out room.  They were nice enough to the power back on so that we could get dress and check out.

I took my first subway ride down to Wall Street where we were staying at the Andaz.  I loved everything about the hotel! It was amazing! LOL I wish I could afford it on a normal basis :-)

After checking in we headed off to see Lady Liberty on the Staten Island Ferry.  Can I just say she is most likely the most amazing site I have ever seen! As an American its just in my blood to want to see her.  I failed the 2 trips before, but this time I went right by her and it took everything I had in me not to cry.  Amazing that a statue can bring up such emotion, but WOW she is spectacular! The only thing about NYC that has left me more speechless was Ground Zero. I'm pretty much at a lose for anything else to say.

We had pizza in Staten Island and head back across on the ferry to the city.

We headed back to Time Square where we caught up with my most favorite Matt in the world...the amazing Matt Beck! We caught him in between Spiderman shows where he was having lunch. Its always great to be able to spend any time with Matt, its because of him I have some amazing friends in the industry. So we talked while he ate and then walked back over to Foxwoods where we took some tradional venue shots....lol although I never went in the venue, but hey I was there!

Julia headed back to the hotel while I went to catch up with Jenny & Viv at Joe's pub....LOL we ended up meeting at Starbucks and missed the show. However the lovely ladies went to dinner with Julia and me at Wall & Water over at the hotel.  Amazing food and wine I have to say! Everything tasted remarkable! If your in NYC go try them out, get the cheese fondue! I thought we were all going to die from how good it was!

LOL the rest of the night was a lot of driving!  We went to a pasrt by central park, where one of Viv's friends was, tried to go to another one where Jenny's friend was, but we could not find any parking.  So we headed to the Village Underground where Prince (yes the artist) was hanging out after his show. We got to see him from afar, which was pretty cool.  Julia got a pic of him, but hey we got to see him!

We went back to the hotel where Julia finally got some sleep and I enjoyed the amazing shower and tried to repack my luggage, that I had so overpacked!

The next morning I overslept and almost missed skating in the park. OK thats a lie I did miss the 1030 agreed upon time, but it was because of the stupid subway.  Who knew it turned express on Sundays!  It took me 4 trains to get close and I ended up walking from 53/5 to 59/6 because quite simply it was easier and I was tired of riding the damn trains!

Finally we all arrived and paid out $25 bucks to skate in Central Park. The first lap was rough! However we ran (almost literally) into a guy who told us how to skate...you just wiggle! Sounds funny, but damn it, it worked! by lap 2 we were off the wall and skating, slowly! However it was painful as hell, so we had some hot coco and we were done....$25 for about 35 mins....LOL, but hey we did it!

Julia took us over to a great little place for lunch, cause Serendipity said the wait was 4 1/2 hours! After lunch we walked down to Rockefeller and completed the 2nd of my NYC Missions!  I saw the tree!!! Lit up in all its glory, there it was.  We also did Top of The Rock, which has now convinced me that I was born to be a New Yorker! That was the most amazing view I have seen! I saw the entire city, all of Central Park, yup I was born to live there!

We made our way back to the hotel to pick up our luggage and then took the subway to the air tran and as quick as that the trip was over.

Las Vegas looks so different now! No matter how much I love it here, its not New York...I dont really want to be here anymore.  I am committed for at least 6 more months, so we will see.  One day soon though I will be blogging about my life and times in NYC....count on it!

Pot Pans, Drums Sticks and some starch!

Today was pretty uneventful.  Getting back into the swing of things at work, doing a little of this and that.

However the night brought about Recycled Percussion! I Loved it!!!

You walk into up to the doors and you are handed a drum stick and then told to pick an object out of the colored bin you are assigned, I was Blue.  In the bin are Pots, Pans and just a lot of twisted metal!

Once seated and the show begins these guys are playing on their Recycled Drum Kits they made and two ladders! Having played the drums many moons ago I was impressed!

A cute video comes on telling you when you see the pic on the screen with you color you are to beat you "Instrument" in time with it.  So much fun! Talk about a way to get out some aggression! I beat the hell out of my pot!

The show was only an hour, but its worth the time!  Its a family show, there were kids there and you literally get to beat pits and pans during it.  If your lucky to be part of the show, well lets just say you are lucky!

Here is a pic of the guys playing with some kind of saws on metal barrels...see the sparks!

Four Square gave us a 2 for 1 drink at Ahmbar, which they new nothing about! Then we headed to Rare 120 for 50% off Monday!

Well if you know me you know I dont eat steak.  So my dinner was Mac & Cheese, baby potatoes and 2 out of 3 kinds of mashed potatoes....LOL Can you say Starch! The potatoes were great...the mac & cheese could take a Que or 2 from the HRC!  They have some amazing twisted Mac....Oh and Serendipity does too!

Great night with Julia & Lena....all activities will be stopping as I have NYC in 10 days...I'm taking donations....just kidding...ok i;m not...ok i am...well......

Tangled, Goss Brothers, Eye Sex and Numb :-)

I'm the mayor of Numb Bar!  LOL luckily I didnt have to drink to become the mayor, I just visit Jay there alot and now I am the mayor!  Had a great twitter chat with the previous though :-)

I went to see Tangled in 3D with Amber on Friday, VERY cute movie! I wish Lyssa liked 3D cause she would enjoy it :-)  Then we slept pretty much all of Saturday...I love friends I can be a bum with!

Saturday night brought about the evening of Goss!!! Both the Gossy boys in the same room, talk about overwhelming!

Luke is a cheeky man! You just want to melt, but in my case I wanted to run! i told him I wanted to test his eye sex skills, which was a big a mistake.  He stared at me and I just melted.  The rest of the night I tried to talk to his feet, which he would not allow! LOL

Here is my failed attempt at eye sex!

He kept me smiling all night though...here are my pics with Luke and then the Gossy Sandwich!

So I concede defeat, Luke Goss is better at eye sex than me...he played the game and he played it well.  LOL he said I had met my match and I agree! I only want to eye sex with Matt Goss!!!

Great weekend!

Peacock/Eagles, Training and NO Technology!

So I am in my 2nd day of Coaching Tactic training and I am exhausted!!!  You cant go to bed at 2a and get up to be 30 mins away for training at 8, it just doesnt work!  It a good class I'm getting alot out of it, actually I just have one issue....

I'm not allowed to use my phone or the Internet for 8 hours!  Its seriously like murder to my brain!  I reach for my phone all day and its not there!  It sucks!

I miss my twitter and text though out the day!  LOL but I'm so tired now that I just want to sleep when I get home!

The positive is that I learned I'm a Peacock, borderline Eagle! Its in writing that I need my phone behaviorally to survive! LMAO!

See there is nothing wrong with me, well at least on that front :-)

OMG! I forgot!!

How could I forget.....I'm going to NYC!!!

Julia and I are NYC bound on 12/17 for the weekend all for the low low cost of $143 round trip airfare including hotel!

We are staying at the Edison Hotel and the Andaz Wall Street!

So the 10th - 13 I'm visiting Cali and on the 17th I'm NYC Bound....can you see my excitement!!!

Planes, Turkeys, Abby, 90 proof & Midnight Parties!

I got lost in life again and forgot to blog...I was doing so good!

Nothing too eventful happened after bowling. Sunday came in went. Monday I checked my 'rents into Caesar's for my 3 comp days.

Tues the 23rd was my team Potluck at work.  I got my team offline for about 2 1/2 hours and we ate and watched How to Train Your Dragon. All I have to say is I WANT A DRAGON!!! Not any Dragon, a Night Fury!!! OMG so cute! You think I'm nuts huh? I bet while you watched it you got all warm and fuzzy and wanted one too!!!! I'm adding it to my xmas list....do you think I would have to pay the pet deposit?

Tuesday night I picked up the baby & Tatiana and we went to stay in the room at Caesar's since I had to take the girls to the airport in the morning for their trip to LA. (That's LA not L.A.). The girls met my valets (yes mine), Bob & Jay while going through Caesars.  LOL I really know way too many people there!

Amber got us tickets to Diva's...OK seriously some of those impersonators need to retire! A few songs in I looked at Amber and she said, What are we doing here! Good question!!! After the show we made an In-n-Out run & went back to hang out in the hotel with the kids.  About 5 minutes back in the room and Alyssa spilled her milkshake on the floor! Oh to be 4!

Amber and I went down to Numb Bar and hung with Jay for a while, before it was time to turn in...me upstairs and her back at Palm's :-)

I took my babies to the airport and it took everything in me not to cry as she walked to the gate...I miss my grand daughter :-(

Spent the night at Palm's so I could take Amber to the airport at the crack of dawn and then on to the 'rents for Turkey Day!  Abby drove up, sick, but she spent the weekend with me and the fam :-)

Friday i got to work from home.  I don't do Black Friday, LOL too many people!

Friday night was 90 Proof night!!! Yes Abby stayed on the couch while I went out.  I brought her McDonald's so she forgave me.  It was my first time seeing them and I loved them!  Of course the fact that they covered two MB20 songs didn't hurt either :-)

Saturday was filled with sleep and then Tala's 30th Birthday Party!  To get ready for said party I slept all day because it didn't start until 12:30am Sunday Morning! I met Lena & Nicole at Caesar's and hung out at Numb for a while.  By the way i am now the Mayor!!  Then we made the rounds and said good bye to Matt and Robin, then we were off to The Artisan!

I'm not a house music person but for Tala and Lena i went and had fun.  Spent time on the patio, in the rain, under the trees and the heat lamp.  Needless to say I got wet!!! It was a great party and I hope Tala enjoys her 30's...LOL then again at 35 maybe I should too!

Saw some more 90 Proof on Sunday night!! They are such a great and fun band!!! I think everyone should see them!

That's pretty much caught us up...back to Frontierville!!!
